Safeguarding Elephant Corridors
$4,700 funds 1 Elephant Satellite Collar + Helicopter Time
GPS Collars allow real-time monitoring of elephant herds, which in turn allow us in-depth mapping of corridors they require for their survival. Collars also allow us to design and implement effective measures to help keep elephants away from agricultural fields.
In partnership with the Mozambique Wildlife Alliance, a chopper is used to locate groups of elephants and highly experienced wildlife vets safely collar a member of each herd.

Pangolin Rehabilitation Center
​$5,000 supports a Pangolin Guardian for One Year
Our team launched Mozambique's 1st-ever rehab center for critically endangered pangolins, and now Macossa-Tambara is a newly established pangolin refuge, where pangolins seized from trafficking syndicates are received, cared for, and rehabilitated and released back into the wild.

Women Leading Community Natural Resources Management
$2950 supports construction of 1 Elephant-Proof silo and supports 1 woman Elephant Guardian for 1 Year.
Women are the backbone of Mozambique's natural resources management. And in Macossa-Tambara, 3 of the most important community based natural resources committees - representing families in the middle of a critical elephant area - are committed to gender equity. 50% of their members are women, and multiple serve in leadership roles.
When it comes to reducing illegal activities such as gold mining, or promoting coexistence between elephants and humans, women must lead and we couldn't be prouder to support the work they do each day.
